Decorations for combat skills
The Terran Republic rewards its soldiers for using their skills
in combat. These are called Impact Awards and the Republic still maintains a
semblance of order despite the wormhole being closed, by awarding decorations
for combating the enemies of the Empire. Loyalist troops who enter into combat
during major planned operations receive the Combat Infantry badge. Sappers receive
the EOD badge. Medics receive the Combat Medic badge. Combat Jumpwings are earned
for attending operations where the Company uses Air Assault hotdrops as the
only means of attacking a base. Aviators Badges are issued to combat aces. The
Air Assault badge is given to all Black Widows who undergo hotdrop training.
The Engineer badge is given to engineers who make repairing armor and vehicles
their chosen role during crucial actions, engagements, and operations.
